All of our classes are taught by certified Black belt instructors. Holding the rank of Black does not qualify a person to teach the art. Our Kempo instructors must earn the rank of Sensei to be fully qualified to train others in our style of Kempo. For them to teach Grand Master Tak Wah Engs Kung Fu program they must also be certified by him. We do allow higher ranked students to help out with and stretch out or warm up classes but this is always done under the supervision of a certified instructor.

Bio: I started gymnastics when I was five years old and continued until I was fifteen. Along with gymnastics I danced for six years leaving me with a background in jazz, lyric and ballet. I have been acting since I was seven and I attended an arts based high school where my concentration was theater and music. I now have a bachelors degree in theater from Southern Connecticut State University. I  started training in the martial arts when I was twenty. I went back to school when I was 22 and had to stop my training for a while. I started again in August of 2007. In late 2007 I started to help out with the kids classes and began an apprenticeship program on how to teach the martial arts. I am currently studying both Shaolin Kempo and Shaolin Kung Fu along with my Kick Boxing workouts.
